Drosera hookeri

An Australian Sundew that captures prey with sticky traps. Plants are capable of consuming small flies and mosquitoes.

Aldrovanda vesiculosa

A fascinating little plant that is at home in water. They are carnivorous and the best way they could be described is underwater Venus Flytraps only they prefer mosquito larvae not flies! The plants are directly related to the well known Venus Fly Trap but have evolved without a root system and simply float just under the waters surface. Not a beginners plant!

Cephalotus follicularis

A personal favorite of ours, the Albany Pitcher plant has got to be one of the most intriguing of the carnivorous plant world. An endemic Australian native too!
