Attractive Australian plant suitable for habitat ponds and aquaria. The plant is a floating aquatic often producing long roots underneath the floating leaves to which native fish and shrimp could utilize as underwater habitat. A much better alternative to the problem exotic frogbit.

Care:

Grows well in Aquariums with good lighting, outdoors is able to grow in sunny to partly shaded conditions. Keep nutrients low in water if you don't wish for the plant to cover the surface. Alternatively makes a great fertilizer for the veggie patch and fruit trees if scooped out regularly and placed around them. Yet to test its ability with frost but most likely can be killed.

Before purchasing please contact us to see which provenance we might have close to you.

Note:

Price listed per one mature plant.
