Very attractive Australian native with colourful clover-like leaves floating on the surface of ponds. Incredibly this plant is actually a type of fern adapted to life in wetlands. Our particular strain available originated from Western Sydney, where it's population sadly now locally extinct from development. Nonetheless it will hopefully continue to exist for many years to come with a nice population in our habitat pond and those who grow our plants.

3rd image is roughly the sized plant you will receive bare rooted and carefully packaged.

Care:

Grow this plant in a sunny position submerged in your pond or potted water garden to encourage attractive large floating leaves. Can also grow well on the edges of ponds emergent although our form seems to prefer being submerged.

Note:

Protect your local Biodiversity

Do not release any plant into your local environment even if native. Plants from cultivated sources may not be of genetic local provenance and interfere with local population genetics.

Happy to combine postage at a revised rate if additional plants are purchased.
